When lockdown hit, just 3 days after Dan had headed back to New Jersey to celebrate his dad’s birthday, he was forced to stay for the long haul. Julia went to quarantine in Menlo Park with Kim and Allison. And so ensued daily multi-hour FaceTimes. Their record was 4 hours and 28 minutes, growing their relationship in the most unique of ways. Fast-forward two years and many cross-country flights, Julia convinced Dan he really did love cats, and she and Clyde made their way to their new home in Jersey City. As they discovered each other's truest selves – Julia snacking on the couch in her plaid onesie and Dan building his own computer to optimize video game play – they also realized their idea of happiness was precisely the same: cozy together time at home (their record for not leaving the apartment is 3.75 days). 

A few months later, Dan managed to keep Julia thinking she was in charge in order to pull off a surprise proposal against the New York City skyline. And here they are now, fiancés and their beloved feline, excited to tie the knot with all of you there.
